Just a quick good-bye as our plane takes off for Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia in just 4 hours! How are we feeling? Excited, relieved, and exhausted (from a very full last few days).

PRAISE GOD for providing the housing we needed. Thanks for your prayers. We’ll be staying at a temporary apartment in July close to our Korean missionary colleagues, and then move to our permanent apartment in August.

PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR WORK with the InterVarsity summer missions team in Ulaanbaatar. We will join them JULY 7-8 in training Mongolian Christian students via intensive Bible studies. On JULY 15-20, we will bring Mongolian students to minister together at an orphan camp in the countryside. Over 250 orphans will be participating. Finally, on JULY 21-24, Tom will be leading the InterVarsity team through debriefing their summer mission.

PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR VISA. Although we already have a formal letter of invitation from the university, we still haven’t received visas. So, we’ll first enter as tourists, and then we’ll have 30 days to acquire a student visa from the Mongolian government while we are in Ulaanbaatar.

STILL DON’T KNOW MUCH ABOUT MONGOLIA? For a map of Mongolia, click on

Please do stay in touch over e-mail! We won’t be able to establish a P.O. Box or phone number in Mongolia for a while, but we’ll communicate that info once we have it.

Blessings,
Tom and Nancy
