Tom and Nancy, Back in the Bay Area!
We’re back in the States! Nancy is now 7.5 months pregnant, and we’ll be in the Bay Area until mid-December. We’re looking forward to a smooth baby delivery (see “baby shower” below), working on a few projects, and a time of renewal. And we hope to see many of you!

We also want to thank you for praying for our recent Mongolian-Hong Kong Students GOSPEL CAMP, held July 21-25 in the countryside. About 20 Mongolian students and 7 Hong Kong staff and students spent time learning about each other’s cultures and the gospel. Half of these Mongolian students had also participated in our month long English Camp (6/17-7/12), so we were pleased with their continued involvement in FCS. At the end, 2 Mongolian students - Tsegee and Monguu - received Jesus as their Lord & Savior!

Finally, our Mongolian staff CHUKA, who we’ve been training and working closely with, will take over the leadership of FCS2. Mesona, our Hong Kong staff partner, will support her. And our Korean colleague Lee, will take over much of Tom’s administrative and fiscal responsibilities. Please pray for them, esp. for good teamwork and encouragement as they serve faithfully.

1. TOM’S TRAVEL SCHEDULE. Although we’re limiting our travel due to our upcoming baby, Tom will have speaking engagements in the Baltimore area on August 14-18, and a L2 Leadership Forum ( www.l2foundation.org/events/ ) on September 3-6. Please pray for protection over Tom’s health, as he adjusts back to American soil and its fast pace, as well as encouragement through his meeting like-minded folks and friends.
2. NANCY AND THE BABY! Please pray for Nancy, as she recovers from a busy summer schedule and tiredness from the pregnancy. Pray for our baby’s health, and a gentle and loving spirit to grow even at thisearly stage of life. 3. MONGOLIA FCS AND A NEW SEMESTER. Chapter Camp, a critical time for planning for the new year will be held August 13-15 (FCS1) and August 20-22 (FCS2). Pray esp. for Chuka, who will be leading the FCS2 Chapter Camp. Please continue praying for the follow up of the many students who joined FCS2 activities this summer, esp. for a special “Reunion and Introduction to FCS” planned for September 1.
