Tom Lin

On Friday evening, October 8th, we welcomed Abigail Yuki Lin into our lives. Abigail (”Abby”) weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces, and the Lord has granted her perfect health. We’ve posted Abby’s first photo in the photos section.

Her first name comes from the Bible character Abigail in 1 Samuel 25. Abigail was a faithful servant, a peacemaker, strong in leadership, intelligent, and (of course) beautiful. We gave her the middle name Yuki, in honor of Tom’s late mother. Yuki, which means “snow” was her Japanese nickname.

Thanks for all your prayers, esp. for Nancy’s labor and delivery. Nancy gave birth NATURALLY! She gives all credit to the Lord, who granted us much favor among the nursing staff. Nancy continues to recover well, as we just returned yesterday from the hospital to Tom’s brother’s home.
