As we approach the end of 2006, the Lin family is experiencing closure to many things in our lives – including Tom’s physical therapy (he can walk again!), our re-entry into the States, and the completion of our most significant family event (Olivia’s birth). After spending the past few months reflecting on our time in Mongolia and looking backwards at God’s work in our lives, we are now looking forward to applying those lessons learned and preparing for our next season of ministry in the Midwest. Stay tuned in 2007 for more details!

Dear Friends,

Please join us in praising God for the healthy birth of Olivia Naraa Lin!

Olivia was born today (Monday) at 4:15 pm, weighing in at 7 lbs. 1 ounce. To honor God’s faithfulness to us while in Mongolia, we gave her the middle name Naraa, meaning “sun” in Mongolian.

Nancy was amazing again, giving birth naturally even though she was induced into labor and had an injured husband on crutches by her side. She and Olivia are resting at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View and hope to be back home on Wednesday. Abby stayed home due to a cold, and looks forward to meeting baby sister soon.

I’ve attached some of our first pictures taken after birth. Thanks so much for your prayers!

Warmly,

Tom
