It’s been 3 weeks since we arrived at our new home in Missouri. We’re still living out of suitcases, unpacking boxes, and visiting furniture stores daily, but we’ve been thankful to God for a smooth move thus far. New friends and a group of St. Louis-based InterVarsity staff have warmly welcomed us and helped us so much.

Dear Friends,

Like Abraham and the Jesus’ disciples, we are invited on a journey to the unknown and journey of faith. From humble beginnings in Chicago, we’ve pitched our tents on foreign land — in Boston, California, and Mongolia. With your partnership and support, we’ve moved on without knowing exactly where we are going, but trusting in God’s promise that He is preparing a place for us…

As we approach the end of 2006, the Lin family is experiencing closure to many things in our lives - including Tom’s physical therapy (he can walk again!), our re-entry into the States, and the completion of our most significant family event (Olivia’s birth). After spending the past few months reflecting on our time in Mongolia and looking backwards at God’s work in our lives, we are now looking forward to applying those lessons learned and preparing for our next season of ministry in the Midwest. A new look

Sain bainuu! As you’ve probably noticed, Tom and Nancy’s website has gotten quite a makeover. Don’t worry, it’s all the same content, presented in a nicer, cleaner format.

This page being technically a blog, you can now leave your own comments, questions, etc. and I’m sure Tom and Nancy will check in from time to time (hint hint). Plus, the navigation is a lot cleaner now, and it also makes my life a lot easier in terms of posting updates and overall site maintenence.

Everything is still here, slowly being migrated to the new system.

Plus if Tom and Nancy ever decide to embrace blogging themselves, the infrastructure is already there… :)
Enjoy!
