This week, as InterVarsity reaches out to 1,000’s of new students on over 30 campuses in the Midwest (about 600 nationwide), we hope to challenge mission-minded students toward seeing lives transformed, campuses renewed, and world-changers developed. Please pray with us!
Last week, IV partnered with other campus Christian organizations, local churches, government, and anti-trafficking organizations, to raise awareness about the evils of human trafficking and 21st century slavery. Ohio State students were challenged to consider how God may be calling them to respond and bring justice to those who are suffering through their increased awareness, financial donations to organizations fighting trafficking, and volunteerism. More than 300 students committed their lives to God’s Kingdom during the week’s events.Continue Reading »

Two months ago, Nathan White began planting an IV chapter at East Carolina U. Last week, 19 students attended a Core Retreat — an incredible event captured on video (click here). These are the kinds of stories we’re also seeing in the Central Region, with 6 new “chapter plants” that have just begun in the last 2 months! Pray for our planters and plants at Creighton U, U of Missouri-St. Louis, U of Iowa, Forest Park Community College (St. Louis), Harris Stowe State U (St. Louis), and Maplewood Community College (Kansas City).
