Our vision is local and GLOBAL. In January, I was reminded of our call to the nations. I took steps to prepare for Urbana 2009, made decisions about this summer’s Global Projects, and spoke at a Wycliffe national convention, where they were eager to recruit thousands of young college graduates into reaching every last people group on earth. End-Of-Year Gatherings

Although it will soon be vacation time for students, our InterVarsity staff will gather a few times during the end of the year.  On Dec. 17-19, I will be hosting a 3-day retreat for 6 of our intermediate staff (4-10 years experience) in the region.  I’m calling it the Hilltop Retreat, and it will be in historic Galena, IL. Thanks for praying for my Regional Staff Conference (RSC) and Prospective Staff Weekend (PSW) two weekends ago. At RSC, I praise God for the many ways our missionary God worked among our 30 staff. Our staff came together vulnerably and with great hope for the future.
