Park's Farewell Party - Feb. 13

Since our arrival in Mongolia, Daehoon Park has coordinated our international team and served us tremendously. He has worked for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship-Korea, our sister movement, for the past 12 years, and will finally take a 3-year sabbatical to study at Fuller Seminary. We will miss him and his family dearly.

The Mongolian students organized a going-away party on Feb. 13th. They wore traditional Mongolian clothes ("del") and gave him and Mrs. Park a traditional greeting when they first walked into the party. Several students testified to how the Park family influenced their life, some dramas and singing followed, and Park shared (he's fluent in Mongolian) some words for the students. Two days later, about 20 students also went to the airport to see Park's family off.
