FCS Mid-Semester Retreat

Over 20 students participated in our FCS2 Mid-Semester Retreat, held in our student center (office). Most were either new believers or non-believers and new to FCS, so our 2 goals were: (1) Introducing students to Jesus, and (2) Introducing students to each other. Thus, much time was spent sharing in small groups and hearing lectures about who Jesus is.

Our 2 FCS2 Mongolian staff, Chuka and Nyamaa, gave one sermon each. Tom also led a large group Bible Study on “Jesus teachings on Worrying”, as many students worry quite a bit about their families, their poverty, school work, and their future. The students also did dramas to show the things they typically work about.
