Nadaam Festival – July 11-13

The biggest event of the year in Mongolia is Nadaam. Shops close, government offices close, and everyone's eyes are on the annual Wrestling competition, Archery competition, and Horse Racing competition. We attended with some students, who explained many of the traditions displayed during the opening ceremonies. It was interesting, but we found one day of Nadaam to be enough for us… (You can also catch it all on Mongolian TV).
