Leading a Global Missions Movement among University Students and Faculty

A great article on our Harris-Stowe State University Chapter plant just came online at InterVarsity.org… check it out!  In addition, here’s a bonus story involving prayer, marajuana, and God’s providence during a day on campus this past month:

After a great prayer meeting, IV staff Ashley met up with Margaret, a student who had expressed interest in ministry.  As they walked outside praying, another student stopped them and said, “I’m agnostic, but the sincerity of your prayers drew me over.  I had actually come over here to smoke my blunt [marajuana] and do my calculus homework before class, but as I listened to you pray, I got convicted and couldn’t do it.”

Margaret and Ashley went on to share the gospel on the spot…  Their new friend wants to believe that it’s true, and is eager to learn more.  She’ll be joining them for their next prayer meeting!
